The city of Guanajuato has an elevation of 1,880 meters over the sea level.
The months of April, May and June are the hottest months of the year with a temperature of 30°c, which is why sunscreens and hats to protect ourselves from the sunrays are highly recommended.
On the rainy season, which are usually in the months of June, August and part of September there is rain over the afternoons and nights, and in some rare occasions also in the mornings. On this season is necessary to have an umbrella and shoes that keep your feet from getting wet. Since Guanajuato is a city full of alleys, when its rainy it gets really hard to walk through them.
On December and January, the temperature can go down to 1°c, however, what might seem cold for us Mexicans, is a nice weather for foreigners.
